VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Fiberglass Technician for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM

This is a Full Time Temp to hire Opportunity

Schedule is Mon-Friday 7am-3:30 pm

Pay is $16-$18 per hour

As a Fiberglass Technician you will:

Perform fiberglass and composite repairs on aircraft components to ensure structural integrity.
Apply wet lay-up techniques using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
Utilize tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and effective repairs.
Assist with pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting tasks as needed.
Ensure all repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Fiberglass Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Entry to mid-level composite technician with experience using fiberglass or carbon fiber materials.
Experience with wet layups and freehand composite repairs required.
Ability to use hand tools for cutting, grinding, and fitting composite parts for assembly.
Aviation experience preferred, but marine, automotive, or manufacturing composite experience acceptable
Good mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions
Strong attention to detail and ability to support composite assembly and repair work.
